A rustic Day of the Dead wedding tile design from 2016 that I have revisited and updated for 2024. Made using a stoneware clay that I recently developed for my studio and an aventurine glaze recipe I developed several years ago.
The skeleton on the left has a superficial, harmless crack on their arm, which I find charming, like a bracelet.
Measures 9.25" tall and 7.75" at its widest. Ready to hang using a flat head screw (not included).
High fired to 2345F degrees.
Indoor use. Clean with a lightly damp cloth.
