Wheel thrown using porcelain clay, with several local mountain rocks embedded and fired into the clay. The upper exterior has a flowy, matte, crystalline glaze that transitions to more glossy, textured surfaces. The matte surface split in some spots to create what look like mini lightning bolts.
Wood fired to create an irreplicable, unpredictable surface that shifts in character and texture from one side of the cup to the other.
Gentle hand washing is recommended, but occasional dishwasher/microwave use is fine.
