The upper exterior has a crystalline glaze that transitions from matte to more glossy, with textured, crackled glassy surfaces. Parts of it look icy and other parts fiery. The interior glaze is smooth and food safe.
Gentle hand washing is recommended, but occasional dishwasher/microwave use is fine.
