Inspired by the adorable Lophophora williamsii. I imagined it nestled in a rocky desert landscape along a wash, with a snowy mountain range in the background.
Wheel thrown using a sand colored, lightly gritty clay. Decorated with a sculpted Lophophora and rocky substrate. Glazed with a speckled white interior and turquoise copper patina exterior.
Fired to cone five and made using food safe glazes. Occasional microwave and dishwasher use is ok. Gentle hand washing is recommended.
